The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems. This role involves installing, plumbing systems in commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with local codes and regulations while delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment to complete plumbing tasks effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation and repair of plumbing components.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues.
- Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, and construction practices is advantageous.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to plumbing systems.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
- Ability to operate commercial driving vehicles as needed for job site transport.
- Experience with assembly tasks related to plumbing installations is a plus.
- Capability of performing heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
