Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth check-in and check-out processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse clientele and enhance guest experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and provide information
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, addressing concerns to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared and issues are resolved quickly
- Uphold professional phone etiquette and uphold the hotel’s hospitality standards at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, processing payments, and managing guest accounts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in hotel environments
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities is a plus
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Knowledge of guest services procedures and hospitality industry standards
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for representing the hotel brand
