Branded Bites is a bakery and co-packer producing cookies, chocolates, gift packages, and more. We have a retail cookie line sold through grocery stores across Canada and a promotional treats line selling custom-branded food packages for corporate giveaways and gifts.
We are a small and cohesive team of highly dedicated, motivated, and supportive individuals working hard to keep up with the rapid pace of production and growth of the company. We work together and often wear several hats to ensure we operate as effectively as possible. Team members are expected to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes to production schedules. The work completed is physical; you are expected to be on your feet and active throughout the day.
Due to the specialty nature of our product and processes, we will provide training to all new hires.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Hand packaging of finished products
- Creation of shipping labels and input of delivery orders using company software and third-party shipping applications
- Handling all shipping and receiving functions within our facility
- Setup of automation equipment (sealers, fillers, weighers) and operation of the equipment, including hand loading/unloading of product
- Assisting the production manager with ensuring quality oversight of part-time staff within the packaging department
- Helping with all other tasks in the bakery

Qualifications:
- All candidates must be fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge and comfort with computers is required
- Previous shipping/receiving experience is required
