Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented eLearning Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing engaging online learning experiences that enhance training and educational programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional design skills, proficiency with various LMS platforms, and expertise in multimedia content development. Duties
- Develop engaging and interactive eLearning content using tools such as Adobe Captivate and Blackboard.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyze instructional requirements.
- Design and structure online courses aligned with instructional design best practices.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of training modules.
- Design multimedia elements including videos, animations, and assessments to enhance learner engagement.
- Maintain and update existing eLearning courses within the LMS platform.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure functionality across different devices and browsers.
- Provide support for trainers and educators by creating supplementary materials such as presentation slides and instructor guides.
- Stay current with emerging trends in training & development, instructional design, and eLearning technologies.
Skills
- Proven experience in content development for online learning environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with Adobe Captivate, Blackboard, LMS platforms, and other eLearning authoring tools.
- Solid understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent writing skills for creating clear, concise instructional materials.
- Classroom experience or teaching background is a plus for understanding learner needs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Presentation skills for delivering training sessions or demonstrations when needed.
- Knowledge of training & development strategies to create impactful learning experiences.
