Overview
We are seeking 1 reliable and detail-oriented individual to preform janitorial tasks at a commercial property in Westlock Alberta. The position is expected to be 4 hours Wednesday evening and 4 hours either Saturday afternoon or Sunday. Candidates should be committed to high standards of cleanliness and possess a strong work ethic to ensure the upkeep of our clients' facilities. The ideal candidate must be able to provide a criminal record check.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure surfaces are sanitized and maintained
- Notifying supervisors when cleaning supplies is running low.
- Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Complete cleaning checklists and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously when interacting with clients or visitors
- Maintain janitorial room including keeping the supplied tools clean.
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning, especially in commercial is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and basic maintenance procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to scheduled timelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
