SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
In accordance with established policies and procedures and under the direction of the Director of Food Services, or designated supervisor, portions food and beverages and serves meals and distributes meals and snacks, washes peels and cuts fruit and vegetables, prepares hot beverages and toast, washes dishes and utensils and cleans and sanitizes the kitchen and dining room areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
2. Ability to deal with others effectively.
3. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
4. Ability to organize work.
5. Ability to operate related equipment.
Casuals are on-call and need to be available to work weekends, mornings, evenings, vacation, and sick coverages.
