About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Oracle ERP Functional Analyst to join the Oracle Support Team within Service Operations. Reporting to the Oracle Support Team Leader (UK), you will be responsible for the support, configuration, maintenance and continuous improvement of Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, ensuring the platform remains stable, secure and aligned with business requirements.
Working closely with Finance, IT, business stakeholders and third-party partners, you will provide functional support, deliver system enhancements, support Oracle quarterly updates and help drive continuous improvement across the Oracle ERP environment.
Key activities:
- Provide functional support for Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Configure and support Oracle ERP Cloud Financial modules, including:
- - General Ledger (GL)- Accounts Payable (AP)- Accounts Receivable (AR)- Cash Management- Fixed Assets- Expense- Procurement- Oracle Tax
- Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Support system enhancements, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployments and Oracle quarterly updates.
- Configure and support Oracle Tax Engine setups for Canadian tax jurisdictions, including GST, HST, PST and QST, maintaining tax regimes, tax rules, tax statuses, tax rates and reporting configurations in Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Work with technical teams on integrations, BI reports.
- Produce functional documentation, knowledge articles and user guidance.
- Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and liaise with Oracle Support on product or MCS support tickets where required.
- Provide functional support during month-end and year-end financial close periods, ensuring critical Finance issues are resolved within agreed service levels.
Key Competencies:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.
- Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Procurement and Oracle Tax.
- Experience supporting Oracle ERP Cloud in a BAU production environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs or SQL is desirable.
- Oracle Cloud ERP Financials certification.
- Experience configuring Canadian tax requirements within Oracle Tax, including GST, HST, PST and QST.
- Experience supporting multinational Oracle ERP Cloud environments.
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle quarterly release management.
- Oracle Certifications
