Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sand Mould Maker to join our production team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and producing high-quality sand moulds according to production specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and build sand moulds according to engineering drawings and production requirements.
- Operate and maintain mould-making equipment and hand tools.
- Mix, pack, and finish sand moulds to required specifications.
- Inspect moulds for quality, accuracy, and defects before production.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and production staff to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with other production-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Sand Mould Maker or in a foundry/manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
