Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations at our facility in Canada. Based in, this role is vital in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes while supporting our commitment to safety and quality. Core Responsibilities
· Minimize downtime on Production Equipment
· Support maintenance staff whenever production is going.
· Communicate status, plans, progress, roadblocks
· Continuously Improve Maintenance Staff
Day-to-Day Activities
· Manage day to day repairs to Production Equipment
· Plan and oversee Maintenance Shutdown days
· Keep Maintenance Records in eMaint updated
· Work with Process Engineering to plane and implement long term fixes for recurring Root Causes
· Access ADP to manage schedules, approve time worked and call in replacement employees when crews are short-staffed.

Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in heavy manufacturing.
· Minimum 3 years at a Supervisory level.
· Strong technical understanding heavy manufacturing process equipment.
· Experience managing in a unionized environment.
· Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Maintenance Management Software.
Physical Effort/Working Conditions
· Occassional lifting, bending, and handling of parts up to and above shoulder height.
· Use of PPE as required in a production environment.
· Standard schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; weekends off.
· Extended periods, walking and standing on Production floor throughout the day.
· Industrial environment with noise, heat, and operational hazards.
· Minimal use of forklifts or heavy equipment; focus remains on training, planning and supervision.
