Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, or flux core welding.
- Fabricate parts according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Assemble structures by fitting together components and securing them using appropriate methods.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in operating power tools and welding equipment.
- Strong ability to weld various materials with precision.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Experience operating cranes safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
