Job Summary:
Avaarc Welding is seeking skilled Red Seal Fabricator/Welders to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. In town and out of town. Working in mines and on equipment is a bonus. Lots of structural steel fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Fabricate and weld metal components using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery necessary for fabrication and welding tasks
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
- Work in and out of town
- Have to know how to gouge
Qualifications:
-Must have lots of Fabrication Experience
-Must have Red Seal Fabricator Ticket
- Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder
- CWB certification FCAW/SMAW
- Red Seal Requirement
- Familiarity with operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance
- Experience working with cranes for material handling is a plus
- Fork lift experience or telehandler a bonus
