Our Projects team is growing at PMco, and we’re looking for a Site Superintendent to join us out of our Dartmouth location.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, leading crews, and seeing projects come together day by day. You’ll be responsible for the overall coordination and execution of work on site, working closely with Project Managers, trades, suppliers, and clients to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

How you’ll spend your day
- Lead day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and site activities from start to finish.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and the PMco team.
- Monitor site progress and support short-term planning to keep work aligned with project schedules.
- Plan and coordinate site activities, materials, and short-term work schedules.
- Support problem-solving, issue resolution and risk management.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with PMco’s Safety Program and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in and lead site safety meetings as required.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including drawings, site journals, progress photos, and updates in Procore.
- Manage site materials, services and documentation, including take-offs, purchasing and reporting.
- Coordinate site setup, temporary services, and overall site readiness.
- Support site clean-up and jump in hands-on when needed.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Project Manager and construction team.
What will help you thrive
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Alignment with PMco’s core values of Synergy, Commitment, and Thriving Culture.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on active construction sites.
Nice to have:
- Trade certification or construction-related education
- Leadership or supervisory training
- Experience in commercial or multi-unit residential construction
