Marmot Heating & Cooling is seeking a motivated and skilled FSR Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a certified electrician with a valid BC Field Safety Representative designation and hands-on experience in residential and light commercial electrical service, installations, troubleshooting and project work.

Role: this is a full-time position focused on residential and light commercial HVAC, electrical service and installation work. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to complete HVAC installations, electrical installations, service calls, troubleshooting, panel work, equipment connections, and related home comfort projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform residential and light commercial HVAC and electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting and installations
- Act as the Field Safety Representative for applicable electrical work and permits
- Ensure electrical work is completed safely, professionally, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
- Install and connect electrical equipment related to HVAC, heat pumps, panels, circuits and other residential / light commercial systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend practical solutions to customers
- Complete start-ups, testing, and safety checks
- Maintain a clean, organized and professional job site
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners and team members
- Accurately complete job documentation, photos, notes, and updates using ServiceTitan
- Work closely with dispatch, management and other technicians to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
Qualifications:
- Valid BC Electrical Field Safety Representative designation required; Class B minimum preferred
- Experience in residential and light commercial electrical service and installation
- HVAC, heat pump, service upgrade or panel experience
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and permitting requirements
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
