We are currently seeking an experienced Double Reach Truck Operator to join a busy warehouse team in Burlington. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a double reach forklift to move, store, and retrieve products within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a double reach truck safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, and stack products as required
- Pick and put away inventory at various rack heights
- Complete inventory movements using RF scanners
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating a double reach truck
- Valid external forklift certification
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Multiple shifts available:
6am-2pm
2pm-10pm
10pm-6pm
Preference will be given to candidates willing to also be on call.
Preferred Experience
- High-level racking experience
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Inventory control and order picking experience
- Experience in a distribution or logistics environment
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
