We are looking for a line cook/cook for our Cafe. Experience in brunch and a love of cooking is desired. We are looking for a long term employee that is also available for weekends. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed during food handling and preparation.
- Assist in meal preparation and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in food service is a plus
