About Ortona Gymnastics Club:
Ortona Gymnastics Club is dedicated to fostering a fun and supportive environment where athletes of all levels can develop their gymnastics skills. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate Recreational Gymnastics Coaches to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and lead recreational gymnastics classes for athletes of various ages and skill levels.
- Provide instruction in fundamental gymnastics techniques while ensuring a positive and safe experience.
- Develop lesson plans that align with Gymnastics Canada and Alberta Gymnastics Federation guidelines.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging atmosphere that promotes skill development, confidence, and teamwork.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing gym rules and best practices for injury prevention.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding athlete progress and program updates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- NCCP Gymnastics Foundations and trampoline Trained
- Previous coaching experience in recreational gymnastics
- Strong communication and leadership skills to engage with athletes and parents effectively.
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR certification.
- Valid Police Information Check (with Vulnerable Sector Check) or willingness to obtain.
- Respect in Sport and Making Ethical Decisions certification (or willingness to complete).

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
