Reporting directly to the Manager of Programs at the AOHT, the Coordinator will play a key role in the development of the AOHT and partnerships across social and health promotion partners. The Data Coordinator will provide day-to-day support for key parts of the AOHT’s backbone infrastructure, which may include acting as a key resource for:
- Data collection, analysis, measurement and reporting
- Quality improvement and change management support
- Administration and coordination of projects
- Communication, engagement and partnerships
DUTIES:
- Work with AOHT working groups and committees to provide tailored, standardized, and timely utilization and performance reports
- Work with AOHT working groups and committees to support data collection strategies, evaluations, performance measurement, leverage data sources and benchmarking
- Develop reports that outline the accomplishments and performance of the AOHT as required, including annual reports, strategic plans, quarterly reporting, and ad hoc committee and working group reports
- Develops Key Performance Indicators, dashboards, data visualizations, and reports for the purposes of monitoring and optimizing organizational performance on quality, safety, operations, and planning for programs
- Consistently track, compile, and maintain data from a variety of implemented projects to support performance monitoring, reporting, and informed decision-making.
- Plans, develops, designs, and implements reporting systems to support decision making needs throughout the AOHT
- Works collaboratively with stakeholders and end users ensuring data and benchmarking information is accessible, accurate, reliable and relevant
- Actively contribute and participate in province-wide collaboratives to promote knowledge exchange
- Synthesizes findings to present to key stakeholder groups for decision making and advancing quality improvement programs
- Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day project governance, including working groups and committees
- Support budget tracking and financial administration processes, ensuring timely submissions, accurate recordkeeping, and alignment with organizational processes and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate AOHT backbone infrastructure projects (communication, data collection, analysis, measurement, reporting, quality improvement, change management), as well as provide support for on-going monitoring of activities across AOHT partners
- Provide support for the Director, members of the AOHT Transformation Office, and associated working groups and committees for meetings (notes, meeting packages, presentations, and scheduling)
- Provide timely and accurate coordination of agendas, minutes, reminders, stakeholder communications and presentation for required meetings
- Support organizational communication initiatives through the development of visually engaging and accessible informational or promotional materials for internal stakeholders and public-facing audiences.
STAFFING AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years’ experience in related field
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Knowledge of various research methodologies
- Oral and written communication skills to discuss and document progress
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and to problem solve issues that arise during the course of work
- Ability to work remotely with occasional check-ins with supervisors and/or team members
- Ability to apply sound research and project management techniques
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with use of Microsoft Office suite applications
- Demonstrated working knowledge of basic computer equipment and multi-function devices.
- Ability to take initiative to establish personal goals and take responsibility for meeting those deadlines within a defined timeline
- Knowledge of and adherence to Hospital Standards of performance, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Understanding of the organization’s mission, vision and values.
- Experience with visual design and digital communications is considered an asset, including the ability to develop professional posters, presentations, website content, and other visually engaging materials.
