Job Summary
As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing them with a positive dining experience by welcoming and seating them in a courteous manner.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and bid them farewell as they leave
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure prompt and attentive service
- Maintain a tidy reception area and dining room
- Answer phone calls and inquiries with professionalism
- Assist in setting up dining areas for service
Experience
- Prior experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is beneficial
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
