Blüm Academy is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and caring Support Educator / Custodian to join our team. This full-time role is essential to the daily rhythm of our Academy, supporting both classroom operations and maintaining the clean, beautiful environments our students and educators thrive in.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys supporting a team, and understands that clean, well-prepared spaces are foundational to high-quality early learning.
About the Role
As a Support Educator / Custodian, you will play a key role in:
- Supporting classrooms by stepping into ratio when needed
- Assisting educators during transitions, routines, and daily care
- Maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming environments throughout the campus
- Supporting laundry, sanitation, and daily reset routines
- Ensuring high-touch surfaces and shared spaces are consistently cared for
- Working collaboratively with educators and leadership to support the flow of the day
This role blends hands-on classroom support with custodial care and requires flexibility, attentiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certification (required)
- Experience in a childcare or early learning environment is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member
- Professional, warm, and dependable presence
- Physically able to perform cleaning and custodial duties
