We are looking for a highly motivated Public Relations Specialist to join our team. The duties will be as follows (not limited to):
- Sales: Gathering corporate clients and new business partners for the organization.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups.
- Coaching client representatives in effective communication with the public and employees.
- Studying the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services.
- Conferring with managers to identify trends and group interests and providing advice on business decisions.
- Advise clients on marketing, advertising or sales promotion opportunities and strategies.
- Develop strategies and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns and implement them.
- Arrange interviews, news conferences and other media events.
- Act as spokesperson for an organization and answer written and oral inquiries.
- Coordinate special publicity events and promotions for internal and external audiences.
- Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material.
Requirements:
- Class 5 license.
- Some Insurance background preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of marketing.
- An ability to work on big strategy plans as well as day-to-day tasks.
- Ability to think both creatively and strategically.
- Project and budget management skills.
- Responds well under pressure with strict time limit.
- Quick and enthusiastic learner.
- Ability to run PR campaigns that deliver measurable results and meet objectives.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
