We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining, repairing, and assembling trailers and related equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial equipment, schematics, and the ability to operate heavy machinery. The Trailer Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all trailers are in optimal working condition while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on trailers and related equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards.
- Assemble and weld components of trailers as needed, utilizing power tools effectively.
- Troubleshoot issues with trailers by interpreting schematics and diagnosing problems accurately.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during the repair and maintenance processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their trailer needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience with tractor trailers.
- Strong skills in welding, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
