The Warehouse associate is primarily responsible for areas relating to Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Management and Warehousing Controls. This position will be responsible for shipping, receiving, picking orders, ensuring a clean and organized warehouse space, performing physical inventory counts as well as scanning inventory and other ad-hoc tasks as required. The position reports directly to the Logistics Managers. The candidate must be a resident of Quebec and be a Permanent Resident or Canadian citizen . Must be available to work morning shift plus overtime if necessary.
Key Activities:
· Inventory Control – Shipping & Receiving including inputting into systems
· Proper storage for Raw Materials, Distribution products
· Must maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO / FEFO)
· Operate forklifts (both stand up deep reach and sit down) and hold valid certification.
· Unloading and loading of trucks and trailers using the forklifts
· Unloading and palletizing of products received on containers
Additional Tasks:
· Inventory verification (requires to be available 2-3 weekends per year).
Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Must be a safety conscious, detailed individual, and possess time management skills
· Be a team player who can also work independently
· Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Outlook
· Able to work overtime if/when necessary
· Must be able to communicate on a professional level at all times in English, French
Job Type: Full - Time
Salary: Starting at $18.50 an hour depending on experience
Schedule:
- Day shift from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM plus overtime when necessary.
- Monday to Friday. Also 3-4 weekends per year
