Westcan Oilfield Supply is a distributor of tubular goods and accessories. We are seeking to fill a position for Shipper/Receiver with Forklift experience for our warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta.
Required Skills:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs; must be physically able to lift inventory; agility for wrapping pallets, etc.
- Forklift experience a must; current forklift ticket an asset
- Must be detail-oriented; responsible for double-checking every order to prevent shipping mistakes
- Arrange shipping for orders; recording weights, dimensions, etc.
- Load orders onto trucks; carrying small boxes and/or using forklift to load pallets/crates
- Receive inventory - forklift large crates and pallets as well as count inventory to ensure numbers are accurate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; manage multiple orders at a time
- General cleaning duties; maintain a clean work space, sweeping, tidying the shop
- Commitment to safety - always aware of your surroundings; risk-management
- Ability to work in a small team environment with great communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to read/write in English
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
