Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
- Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as marinating, portioning, and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety procedures and proper handling techniques to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet service deadlines and uphold restaurant standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices is a plus
- Experience in meal preparation and food industry standards will help ensure a smooth transition into the role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures is advantageous
- Prior kitchen experience demonstrating teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail is highly valued
Pay: $17.85-$25.10 per hour
