Are you a Class 1 pro who enjoys a mix of technical driving and hands-on shop work? We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Class 1 Driver / Shop Helper to join our growing Calgary team.
If you’re the kind of driver who can back a unit into a tight spot with your eyes closed (well, almost!) and doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves to keep the shop running smoothly, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Precision Shunting: Move units between the yard and the shop with safety and efficiency.
- Backing Expertise: Demonstrate high proficiency in reversing maneuvers in a busy yard environment.
- Operational Support: Assist with general shop maintenance and keep our workspace organized.
- Equipment Integrity: Conduct regular yard checks and equipment inspections to ensure everything is "road-ready."
- Team Collaboration: Provide a helping hand to our technicians and yard staff as needed.
What You Bring
- Licensing: Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Technical Skill: Exceptional reversing and maneuvering skills are a must.
- Attitude: A proactive, "can-do" approach to shop tasks and yard maintenance.
