Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. Based in Thunder Bay, Ontario you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing technical systems for our valued customers, ensuring their operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer networking systems and hardware.
- Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on various Canon and Konica equipment.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of Equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in computer networking, hardware, or maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with schematics and low voltage systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Thunder Bay district.
- Prior experience in a field service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of digital copiers and fax machines is an asset
- Canon or Konica Minolta Digital copier training is a strong asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
