Mulberry Lane Bakery in Port Coquitlam is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to actively engage in outside sales of our premium baked goods and pastries, while expanding our customer base across various cafes in Vancouver.

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly base rate of $18
5% commission on all sales
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our customer base within assigned territories.
- Conduct outside sales activities including calling, lead generation, and most direct sales presentations.
- Manage existing accounts through ongoing communication, upselling, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform product demonstrations to prospective clients to showcase features and benefits.
- Manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
- Identify new market opportunities through analysis skills and industry research.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to close deals effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions for reporting purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales.
- Strong understanding of management principles related to account management and business development.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Demonstrated success in direct sales efforts.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies that support inside sales and retail sales initiatives.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Experience in food product sales is a plus, along with familiarity in retail or industrial sectors.
