We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum all types of flooring (hardwood, tile, carpet, etc.)
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, light fixtures, and baseboards
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
- Clean kitchen and breakroom areas, including appliances, sinks, and countertops
- Wash windows, glass doors, and mirrors
- Perform detailed cleaning of high-touch areas (handles, switches, etc.)
- Restock cleaning and washroom supplies as needed
- Maintain and properly care for cleaning equipment and products
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Assist with deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and post-construction cleaning as required
- Ensure all assigned spaces are left clean, tidy, and ready for use
- Represent Your Maid Services with professionalism, reliability, and excellent customer service
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for residential homes and commercial spaces
- Skilled in sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting various surfaces
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, or as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills to complete tasks on schedule
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and equipment
- Experience handling carpet cleaning machines, floor buffers, and steam cleaners
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining a clean and healthy environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with clients and team members
- Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and company policies at all times
Qualifications:
· Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· Ability to pass a criminal record check.
· Strong references from previous employers.
· Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
· Reliable and ready to start immediately.
