We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Site Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring access points, overseeing surveillance systems, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a commitment to safety, and experience in security operations. Prior law enforcement or loss prevention experience is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to play a critical role in safeguarding our facilities while working in a professional environment.

PAY RATE: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr ( Depends on certificates/experience/events )
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the site by checking credentials and maintaining visitor logs
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards
- Operate and oversee surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity around the clock
- Respond promptly to security incidents or alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Enforce company policies related to loss prevention and safety protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with management regarding security concerns
- Assist in implementing security procedures and protocols to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or loss prevention is highly desirable
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and monitoring techniques
- Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and safety regulations
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize suspicious activity quickly
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Previous experience in surveillance or CCTV monitoring is a plus
Requirement

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required )
- First Aid certificate ( Required )
- Security Guard Experience ( Preferred )
