We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Administrator to support the daily operations of our office. This role is essential to creating a welcoming patient experience while ensuring smooth administrative, scheduling, and financial processes. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the dental office
- Coordinate patient appointments, scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups
- Greet patients and provide exceptional front-desk customer service
- Verify patient insurance coverage and clearly communicate financial obligations
- Manage billing, invoicing, and patient payments
- Follow up on outstanding treatment plans and hygiene recalls
- Prepare basic financial and provider revenue reports
- Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and professional
- Address patient concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and professional standards
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in a dental office
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for staff and patient communication
- Experience with ClearDent and MaxAssist is an asset, but not required
Schedule
Mondays 6:30am-2:30pm
Tuesdays 6:30am-2:30pm
Wednesdays 12:30pm-8:30pm
Thursdays 12:30pm-8:30pm
Fridays 7:30am-3:30pm (1 off every 4 weeks)
Saturdays 7:30am-4:00pm (1 every 4 weeks)
