We are seeking General Labourers to join our waste collection client's team. In this role, you will work alongside heavy equipment to sort bulk material into roll-off bins for relocation while ensuring the facility and grounds remain organized and well-maintained. Additional duties may include maintenance and janitorial tasks as required.
THE JOB
- Sort and organize bulk materials for proper disposal and relocation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and surrounding areas
- Perform light maintenance and janitorial duties as needed
- Follow all safety guidelines and workplace procedures
WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY
- Full time, on-going work, 5.5 days a week, Monday to Saturday
- $18/hr + 4% vacation pay
- Weekly pay by direct deposit
REQUIREMENTS
- Available for shifts Monday to Friday, 6am-5pm and Saturdays 6am-12pm
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment around heavy equipment
- CSA-approved 8” steel-toed safety boots
- Ability to work in an open-door environment exposed to varying weather conditions
