About Us
Nursery Support Services is Toronto’s original temporary staffing agency providing planned and emergency staffing solutions for childcare centres across the city. We are looking for qualified, energetic and reliable early childhood educators to join our team!
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and dependable RECEs and ECAs who are available full-time (Monday to Friday).
As a supply educator, you will step into different centres to support classrooms during staff absences, requiring strong adaptability, professionalism, and confidence in your practice. You must be willing and able to travel to various locations in Toronto within a minimum one (1) hour from your home for both prescheduled and on -call shifts.
Pay & Employment
- RECE: $25.00/hour
- ECA: $20.00/hour
- Weekly pay (including 4% vacation pay)
Teachers must be available full-time: From Monday - Friday for both prescheduled and on-call shifts.
Work Locations
Licensed Child Care Centres located in:
North York, Downtown Toronto, East York, and Scarborough
Candidates must be able to work in at least two (2) of the above listed localities in Toronto.

- Support classroom organization, cleanliness, and daily operations
Candidate Profile
- Postal code must begin with M
- Experience working in a childcare setting in Ontario (placement, employment, volunteering etc.)
- Confident in leading and supporting classroom activities with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent weekday availability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable access to transportation within Toronto to travel between centre locations
Requirements
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Valid CPR Level C / First Aid Certification
- Up-to-date immunization records
For RECEs:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized College
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
For ECAs:
- Relevant diploma/certification an asset
