We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Automotive Technician to join our reputable Auto repair team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using diagnostic equipment and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and vehicle systems to accurately identify problems
- Conduct heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership policies
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Assist in the assembly or replacement of vehicle parts as needed
Requirements
- Valid license as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with relevant certifications
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) and work in physically demanding environments
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
