Location: Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House – Strathroy, ON
Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is looking for an experienced Temporary Hiring Lead to support our restaurant during a leadership transition. This role is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding team members while helping maintain the high standards our guests expect.
This is a temporary position, with the potential for a permanent leadership opportunity based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage job postings on hiring platforms.
- Review resumes and screen applicants.
- Schedule and conduct interviews.
- Coordinate working interviews and make hiring recommendations.
- Complete onboarding and ensure all employment documentation is accurate.
- Maintain employee records and hiring files.
- Work closely with ownership to identify staffing needs.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and other leadership responsibilities as required.
- Support daily restaurant operations and uphold company standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience in a breakfast restaurant is required.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding restaurant staff is required.
- Strong knowledge of breakfast restaurant operations and high-volume service.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions.
- Proficient with computers, email, and online hiring platforms.
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Please Note:
Breakfast restaurant management or leadership experience is mandatory. Applicants without breakfast restaurant leadership experience will not be considered for this position.
