Position Summary
We are looking for skilled, motivated CNC Machinists who take pride in producing high-quality work. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous improvement while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
We are currently hiring experienced machinists in:
- CNC Milling
- CNC Turning
- Multi-Axis Machining
- Mill-Turn Operations
What You Would Typically Do In This Role
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and technical specifications
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Set up, program, and operate Mazak CNC machining centres with minimal supervision
- Perform precision machining operations including milling, turning, boring, drilling, tapping, and other CNC processes
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for each operation
- Produce precision components while maintaining tight tolerances
- Complete First Article Inspections and in-process quality inspections
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment
- Complete inspection documentation and production records accurately
- Perform routine machine maintenance and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely when required
- Work closely with fellow machinists, welders, fabricators, and other trades
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all company policies, ISO 9001 quality procedures, and workplace safety standards
What You Need To Bring
- Journeyperson Machinist certification or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum three years of CNC machining experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Mazak equipment and Mazatrol programming is considered a strong asset (training will be provided for the right candidate)
- Strong understanding of CNC milling, turning, multi-axis machining, or mill-turn technologies
- Ability to independently set up, program, and operate CNC equipment
- Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling applications and cutting parameters
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
What Access Precision Machining Offers:
- Competitive wage rage of $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience, ability, and qualifications
- Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts with flexible scheduling opportunities. Day shift and night shift opportunities. Overtime may be available
