Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac equipment to safely excavate and expose underground utilities while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac trucks and related equipment for excavation purposes.
- Ensure safe digging practices to prevent damage to underground utilities.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on hydrovac equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute excavation projects effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including site conditions and equipment usage.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, specifically hydrovac trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
- Ability to dig safely around utilities and understand site plans.
- Commercial driving experience is required for operating hydrovac vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
