Pastry Chef / Pastry Lead
Bonterra Trattoria & Posto Pizzeria – Calgary, AB
Bonterra Trattoria and Posto Pizzeria are looking for a Pastry Chef / Pastry Lead to take ownership of our dessert program and be part of a kitchen team that is focused on quality, consistency, and growth.
This is not just a pastry-only role. You will be expected to lead the pastry program while also being part of the kitchen team and supporting service when needed.

Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the pastry program across both Bonterra and Posto
- Develop and maintain dessert menus that align with the brand and guest experience
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items
- Manage prep, ordering, and organization of the pastry section
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workspaces
- Work alongside the culinary team on menu development and execution
- Support the kitchen during service when needed (line support, prep, execution)
Qualifications
- Previous pastry experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong understanding of pastry fundamentals and techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- High attention to detail and consistency
- Strong organizational skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to step into service when needed

Schedule
- Full-time
- Weekdays, weekends, and evenings as required
