Microservices & APIs:
Designing and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices on cloud and containerized platforms (like AWS or OpenShift/Kubernetes).
Business Logic Implementation:
Directly bridging the gap between business analysts| quantitative researchers| and software by translating complex financial workflows (e.g.| FIX protocols for trading| high-throughput payment processing) into functional code.
System Performance:
Working on multi-threading| real-time transaction processing| and optimizing latency across distributed banking systems.
Integration & Streaming:
Managing data flows using streaming platforms and messaging queues like Apache Kafka and IBM MQ.
Modern Development Practices:
Collaborating in Agile teams and utilizing TDD (Test-Driven Development) | CI/CD pipelines (Maven| Jenkins) | and AI-augmented coding assistants.
Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
