About Our Client
Our client, located in Mississauga, is hiring a
Senior Accountant for a permanent position and will report to the CFO
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing financial accounting and analysis to support the Controller and the Finance Group
- Responsibilities encompass monthly financial close and reporting, assisting with monthly forecasts and annual budgets
- The role is a hybrid role of approximately 70% US sales tax and 30% Accounting duties
Qualifications:
- CPA designation (or actively pursuing designation) preferred
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and US sales tax
- Hands-on experience with any ERP system
- Experience with large organizations
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong team player with a passion for working in collaborative environments
