We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Crate Builder / Sign Packaging & Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for building custom shipping crates, packaging finished signs for safe transport, maintaining a clean and organized shop, and supporting the production team with general shop duties. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Build custom wooden crates for finished signs and other products.
- Package signs and related materials to ensure safe shipping and delivery.
- Load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment.
- Keep the shop, warehouse, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Remove scrap materials and dispose of waste properly.
- Assist with inventory organization and material handling.
- Help production staff with general shop tasks as needed.
- Inspect completed packaging to ensure products are protected from damage.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and use equipment properly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
