· We are currently looking for a highly motivated worker who has welding experience with high attention to detail.
· Experience using a press brake and shear would be an asset.
· Must be willing, to do a variety of tasks to assist production activities.
Skill Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in manufacturing in an industrial setting
- Must be able to weld and fabricate products and components for production from their specifications and drawings or blue prints and verbal directions.
- Must be able to read measuring tools, and calipers.
- Area of Specialization: stainless-steel fabrication, factory assembly, and welding
- Welding Techniques: Stainless Steel Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) (TIG). Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG) would be an asset
- Materials: Gage stainless steel sheets, steel, iron, & heavy metals
- Polishing and finishing experience would be an asset
Specific Skills:
- Interpret welding process specifications,
- Operating brakes, shears and other metal shaping straightening & bending machines would be an asset.
- Additional skills: polish, de-burring sheet metal, bars, etc.
- Work conditions & physical capabilities: fast-paced environment, attention to detail, standing for extended periods
- Essential skills: problem solving, job task planning & organizing, significant use of memory
- Self-Motivated and the ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
- Versatility for assembling and miscellaneous tasks is part of the job.
- Willingness to work early morning shift 6.30 am – 3.00 pm.
- Need a valid driver’s licence.
