Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our construction and excavation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks safely and efficiently perform excavation tasks. This role requires mechanical aptitude, experience with heavy machinery, and a strong commitment to safety standards. The Hydrovac Operator will play a vital role in supporting construction projects, utility work, and other excavation needs, ensuring precise and safe operations across diverse job sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac trucks to excavate soil and debris with precision while maintaining safety protocols.
- Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation of machinery.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of work zones, including the placement of safety barriers and signage.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks.
- Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, construction sites, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for driving hydrovac trucks and other large vehicles. DZ / AZ
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments.
- Prior experience with hydrovac operation or related heavy equipment is required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads as necessary. Pay: $44.00 per hour
