Job Description
- Provide a warm and welcoming space for customers. Educate and inform customers about cider through tours and tastings, while providing a world-class customer service experience.
- Prepare refills, stock cider and merchandise, carry out transactions on the POS system, complete daily and weekly opening and closing procedures and tasks.
- Ensure the retail shop and washrooms are clean, and in good working order.
- Ensure that all operating procedures/protocols are followed in accordance with company policy, and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in bottling, movement of goods and other activities in the cellar/warehouse when requested.
- Communicate regularly with Management about ways the company can improve as an employer and service provider.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, and work around loud noises
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Google Workspace
- Experience in cider, brewing, wine, distilling environments is an asset
- Adept troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Positive, attentive, punctual, respectful, and motivated work ethic
- Work independently and in a team
- Demonstrate safe work practices
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
