Bassett Petroleum Distributors Ltd. is seeking experienced On Road Heavy Duty Mechanics to support our operations in Hay River, NT. We offer competitive pay, steady work, and flexible scheduling options.
The position will be based in Fort Saskatchewan and will be a 2 weeks in Hay River 2 week in Fort Saskatchewan rotation.
Compensation & Perks:
- $45–$55 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain highway trucks and fuel trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Complete a combination of shop work and field/service calls
- Ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate service records and a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with heavy-duty truck and trailer repair
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with fuel equipment is considered an asset
