Position Title: Excel / Access Macros - VBA Developer

Rate: $40.00-$50/hr Inc
Working hours: Mon – Fri from 9:00am to 5:00am (7.5 hrs + 30 min lunch break).
Possibility of some weekend and evening overtime due to deployments
Working Location: Toronto, ON - 250 Yonge; in office twice a week; Tuesday and Thursday
This is roughly 70–80% development and 20–30% business interaction
Key Skills: MS Excel and Access Marcos with VBA script being a must have, and full stack as just a nice supplementary skillset.
Role Responsibilities:· Translates user needs into technical specifications by understanding, conceptualizing, and facilitating technical requirements from user.· Analyzes, develops, tests, and implements new software programs, and documentation of entire software development life cycle execution.· Performs preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and fault rectification of system and core software components.· Ensures that code/configurations adhere to the security, logging, error handling, and performance standards and non-functional requirements.· Evaluates new technologies for fit with the program/system/eco-system and the associated upstream and downstream impacts on process, data, and risk.· Follows release management processes and standards, and applies version controls.· Assists in interpreting and documentation of client requirements.· Focus is primarily on business/group within client; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.· Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.· Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.· Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.· Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying our Risk Management
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (York District)
