We’re seeking a versatile and self-motivated Print Production Specialist to help bring our customers’ ideas to life. This fast-paced role requires a sharp eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service to ensure every project is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain digital and wide-format printers
- Review job tickets, proofs, and artwork to ensure accuracy before production
- Maintain speed and consistency throughout production runs
- Ensure consistent print quality, colour accuracy, and proper registration
- Prepare and preflight print files (bleeds, crop marks, resolution checks)
- Operate finishing equipment (cutters, laminators, folders, binders, etc.)
- Perform finishing tasks (trimming, stapling, drilling, packaging, etc.)
- Troubleshoot equipment and file issues to minimize downtime
- Keep production materials organized and monitor inventory levels
- Assist with customer service and support quoting processes
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces according to shop standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in digital print production or related role
- Proven ability to work quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Experience with digital and wide-format printing equipment
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Familiarity with file prep, print workflows, colour formats (CMYK, Pantone, RGB)
- Able to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume setting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Fast learner with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Customer-focused and service-oriented
