We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nail care and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful, well-maintained nails while providing an exceptional client experience. As a Nail Technician, you will help clients look and feel their best through expert nail services and personalized consultations.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Provide body waxing services as requested by clients, ensuring comfort and professionalism
- Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable services or retail products
- Upsell additional services or retail items to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Build strong relationships with clients by delivering friendly, professional customer service
- Keep workstations organized and stocked with necessary supplies for efficient service delivery
- Stay current on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to offer the latest nail care options
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician with a strong portfolio of nail art and design skills
- Certification is a plus
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for health safety
- Experience with body waxing is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell services and retail products confidently
- Passion for customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
