Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks equipped for freight transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manage freight loading and unloading with precision, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary to handle cargo efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle and heavy equipment to identify maintenance needs or repairs, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation for each shipment, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and freight manifests.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
- Operate heavy equipment like forklifts to load or unload freight safely in warehouse or yard environments.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when minor issues arise to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Flat deck experience is an asset
- Canada wide work, mountain driving experience required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation.
- Skilled in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and other loading machinery.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road or at the yard.
- Ability to handle freight securely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following all safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.

Pay: $150,000.00-$299,839.83 per year
