Bar Vita is seeking a chef to join our team!
3-5 shifts per week (Tuesday to Saturday)
Responsibilities:
- Cooking on the line, and various prep-duties
- Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours
- Ensure the high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas
- Help in the preparation and design of all food menus
- Monitor kitchen and service equipment serviceability and efficiency
Qualities & Requirements
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Familiar with industry’s best practices is preferred; however we are willing to train the right candidate
- Red Seal Certified will be an asset
- Food handlers certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
