What We're Looking For
We are seeking a full-time Boutique Floor Supervisor to join our team and help create exceptional experiences for our clients while supporting the daily operations of our boutique.
This role is ideal for someone with retail experience who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, and is looking to grow their career in a specialized luxury retail environment.
No lingerie or bra-fitting experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and mentorship to help you become an expert fitter and product specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming, supportive, and body-positive environment while assisting clients with product selection, professional bra fittings, and personalized recommendations.
- Support daily boutique operations, including opening and closing procedures, processing transactions, maintaining inventory, merchandising displays, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge, including new arrivals, promotions, and events, to provide informed recommendations and an elevated client experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales and service goals while helping maintain the high standards and personalized service that define the Mel Lingerie experience.
- Assist with boutique events, marketing initiatives, and maintaining our social media presence through content creation, product features, promotions, and occasional participation in photos or videos that reflect our brand and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience preferred; leadership, supervisory, keyholder, or assistant management experience is an asset.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to create a positive experience for both clients and team members.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail in inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and daily store operations.
- Professional presentation, positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining high service standards.
- Comfortable using POS systems and other retail technology, with a willingness to learn specialized product knowledge and professional bra-fitting techniques.
- Ability to support team development, contribute to sales and service goals, and lead by example.
- Comfortable occasionally participating in social media content; experience with social media, content creation, marketing, or additional language skills are considered assets.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage of $19.00 per hour during the training period
- Wage increase to $22.00 upon successful completion of training and demonstration of required skills

Schedule
- Full-time, permanent position
- Approximately 33.5 hours per week
- Day shifts with occasional evenings as required
- Thursday through Monday schedule
- Weekend availability required
- Flexibility during the initial training period is appreciated
